Kathmandu, March 5
Saroj Kumar Upadhyaya, a younger brother of former prime minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, is dead following an accident that appears to be a suicide case.
The police say Upadhyaya was critically injured as he fell off a six-storey building in Shankhamul of Kathmandu on Saturday afternoon.
He was rushed to the nearby Civil Service Hospital for treatment. The hospital referred the case to the Annapurna Neuro Hospital, where he died during treatment, informs SSP Dan Bahadur Karki of the Kathmandu District Police Range.
