The book Hearts on Our Sleeves along with an art exhibition of the same title was launched on July 3 at Artudio, Kathmandu.

It is an initiative of I for Illustrators, a project led by Krisha Tamrakar and Neeti Shrestha. According to a press statement released by Artudio, the book contains stories and illustrations by six Nepali women artists—Neeti Shrestha, Prerana Pakhrin Misrahi, Alfa M Shakya, Shraddha Verma, Krisha Tamrakar and Jyotsna Dhakal.

These artists were part of art workshops organised by I for Illustrators, which were conducted by renowned artists and storytellers.

It adds that the book and the exhibition highlight the artistic prowess of Nepali women artists. Their stories blend reality and fiction, exploring themes of love, courage, vulnerability, and hope, offering guidance and solace to those in need.

The exhibition continues till July 5.
