Realme has introduced its new tablet in the mid-range category, the Realme Pad 2. The tablet is the successor of the first Realme tablet, the Realme Pad. The design has some changes along with a larger screen and other upgrades. However, Realme has not specified many specifications of the tablet.

Design and Display
The Realme Pad 2 comes with a new design. The back has a two-toned design with a matte larger side and a shiny textured side. The frame and the back are expected to be made of plastic. It has flat sides with curved edges. It has a dual camera setup in the back with a main camera and an unspecified camera. It might be a depth sensor to help assist the camera.
On the front, it has an 11.5-inch display which is 1 inch larger than the Realme Pad. The bezels are equal on all sides and give a standard premium feel.
The display is an IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels giving a pixel density of 230 ppi. The display has a refresh rate of 120Hz for smooth visuals. It has a peak brightness of 450 nits which is okay to view in direct light too.
Performance and Storage
Realme Pad 2 has a MediaTek MT8781 Helio G99 chipset built on the 6nm process. The tablet’s Octa-core CPU, with two high-performing Cortex-A76 cores and six efficient Cortex-A55 cores, helps in good performance. The Mali-G57 MC2 GPU enhances graphics processing, making it ideal for multimedia tasks. It runs on Android 13 with Realme UI 4 OS.
It is available with two RAM and storage options of 6/128GB and 8/256GB respectively. The 8GB variant has a virtual RAM feature allowing it to expand its RAM by using the storage from 8GB to 16GB.
Camera
Many details about the camera department are not known about the Realme Pad 2. It has a dual setup camera in the back with an 8MP main camera and another camera. It is most probably a depth sensor. The rear camera can record 1080p videos at 30 fps.
On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera which can record 1080p videos at 30 fps.
Battery and Others
The Realme Pad 2 comes equipped with stereo speakers for an immersive audio experience. It has Dolby Atmos quad speakers, two on the top and two on the bottom for immersive studio-quality sound.
It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor which ensures quick and secure access to the tablet. Other sensors on the tablet are not known and probably will have some common sensors such as accelerometer, compass, gyro and proximity sensors.
The Realme Pad 2 comes with a powerful 8360 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery, the tablet provides long-lasting usage, and the 33W wired charging capability ensures speedy recharging when needed. The battery can provide 17 hours of video, 9 hours of video call, 24 hours of reading, 190 hours of music and 22 hours of document processing.
The Realme Pad is available in two colour options; Grey and Green.
The price of the Realme Pad 2 in Nepal is expected to be around Rs 33,000 for the 6/128GB option and Rs 38,000 for the 8/128GB option.
