Design and Display
The Realme GT5 Pro has a new and improved design. Realme has changed the design quite a bit for its flagship this year. The camera module, featuring a metal strip in the respective colour, is centrally positioned. The Realme GT5 Pro offers three colour options: Red Rock, Bright Moon, and Starry Night. The Red Rock and Bright Moon variants showcase an eco-friendly leather back, providing a premium tactile experience. In contrast, the Starry Night colour variant features a matte shiny finish.
The frame is made of aluminium and is relatively thin due to the curved screen and back. This design gives it a nice finish and a premium flagship feel. On the display front, the bezels are quite narrow and with a curved screen, it has more screen-to-body ratio. The selfie camera sits on the centre hole-punch cutout.
The Realme GT5 Pro has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with an eye-blinding 4,500nit local peak brightness and 94.2 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It has lifelike colours from its 1.07 billion colour palette, covering DCI-P3 100 per cent colour saturation. It has a resolution of 2,780 by 1,264 and a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1. The high refresh rate of up to 144Hz provides smooth motion and a touch sampling rate of 2,160Hz further enhances responsiveness.
It also has an IP64 waterproof and dustproof rating for accidental water splash and dusty conditions.
Performance and Storage
The Realme GT5 Pro is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, built on a 4nm architecture. Its octa-core CPU configuration combines a Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.3 GHz, five Cortex-A720 cores at 3.2 GHz, and two Cortex-A520 cores at 2.3 GHz. The flagship chipset is paired with the Adreno 750 GPU for improved graphics rendering. It runs on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 operating system.
Realme GT5 Pro features a 3VC iceberg cooling system with three-channel rapid cooling. It has a large VC heat dissipation area of 12,000mm², enabling a temperature drop of 21.8℃ and 300 per cent increased heat dissipation over 9 floors.
The memory option on the smartphone includes 12 GB RAM paired with the base 256 GB storage option and 16 GB RAM paired with 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB storage options.
Camera
The Realme GT5 Pro has a flagship triple-camera setup. Its rear camera system comprises three lenses: the LYT-808 OIS super outsole main camera, the 50MP IMX890 periscope telephoto lens, and the IMX355 8MP 112° ultra-wide-angle lens.

As for features of the rear camera, the smartphone does not compromise at all. It includes photo, beauty, filter, street photography, portrait, night scene, high pixel, professional, panorama, continuous shooting, super text, starry sky, tilt-shift, supergroup photo, AI ID photo, long exposure, normal video, movie mode, video Blur, slow motion, time-lapse photography, multi-view video and Dolby Vision support. On the front, the Realme GT5 Pro has a 32MP IMX615 sensor, with a 90° field of view, an f/2.45 aperture, and a 1/2.74-inch sensor size. The front camera also has different modes like custom beauty, night scenes, portraits, and panorama. Users can take photos using the touch screen, volume keys, or gestures. Video recording on the front camera supports resolutions of 720p, 1,080p and 4K at 30fps.
Battery and Others
The Realme GT5 Pro has a large 5,400mAh battery which can easily last through a day even during heavy usage. Even when the charge is exhausted users can charge it using the in-box 100W wired charging. It also has 50W wireless charging support for convenience like when on a car.
Audio has been enhanced using Dolby Atmos and stereo dual speakers. The smartphone also has Hi-Res/Dolby audio certifications.
