Kathmandu, October 4
Due to the persistent issue of vehicles being parked and construction materials being piled up on the pavement, the Kathmandu metropolitan city has taken action by installing notice boards, urging people to refrain from such practices.
The metropolis has initiated this measure to address the inconvenience caused to pedestrians.
The notice board, placed by the metropolis states: “Pavement are designated for pedestrians. Therefore, parking and dumping of construction materials are strictly prohibited.”
The city police have been pasting green boards containing this information onto the walls across the city.
