A woman in Arghakhanchi has been murdered over a dispute over Rs 20.
An investigation has revealed that a man killed a 72-year-old woman over a disagreement regarding the payment of Rs 20 in Malarani Rural Municipality, Gokhunga Patle village.
Head of District Police Office and Sub-Inspector, Pratith Singh Rathore said that 20-year-old Gopal Nepali murdered Harikala Bhusal.
On October 31, Nepali went to Bhusal’s house after a disagreement over Rs 20. He confessed to the police that he murdered the elderly woman, who was alone at home during the altercation.
In the heat of the moment, he struck her with a khukuri. Following the tragic event, he fled, taking cash and gold jewellery from her house.
