Kathmandu, January 8
Nepal Electricity Authority has cut the power of one more industry in the dedicated feeders and trunk line controversy.
The authority cut the power line of Hulas Steels operating in the Bara-Parsa industrial corridor on Monday.
The due amount of the industry till the second week of December 2023 is Rs 432.4 million.
The authority has already cut the lines of 24 industries with arrears of more than Rs 50 million.
Out of this, Himal Steel will pay the due amount in instalments and after paying the first instalment, the authority has connected the line.
The authority has started cutting the lines of non-paying industries from December 23.
