Sindhupalchok, February 1
Two Bhutanese nationals were killed in an SUV accident in Helambu Rural Municipality-1 of Sindhupalchok district.
Five others have sustained injuries in the accident, said Inspector Sanjeev Kumar Yadav.
The deceased have been identified by the police as 33-year-old Abgey and 71-year-old Wangmu, both of whom died on the spot. Among the injured, four are Bhutanese, and one is Nepali.
The injured Nepali has been identified as 42-year-old Ram Chandra Bhandari from Helambu Rural Municipality-2, who was the driver of the jeep. The Bhutanese individuals involved in the incident include Haiz (74), Phupa Chhiring (42), Guchi (65), and Fang (56).
The injured have been airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment, according to police.
