Arghakhachhi, April 21
A massive fire happened at ward no. 3 and 4 of Bhumikasthan Municipality in Arghakhachhi has destroyed 20 houses and sheds. Information Office of District Police Office, Arghakhachhi, Dipendra Rawal said 20 houses and sheds were gutted in the fire at Ratamata, Jabundanda, Bajakharka and other villages of Dharapani.
Hari Prasad Bhusal, a resident from Bajakharka, said entire village was destroyed in the fire. Police Inspector Rawal shared that the fire was out of control despite the attempts of the police, residents and firefighters to extinguish the fire. Tek Raj Bhusal, another resident, said livestock have died and houses as well as sheds were destroyed though human casualty is not reported. Details of the damages are awaited.
