Kathmandu, January 12
The price of gold rose significantly on Sunday, increasing by Rs 1,600 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of hallmark gold reached Rs 155,700 per tola, up from Rs 154,100 on Friday. On Thursday, the price had been Rs 153,300 per tola.
Similarly, the price of silver also increased by Rs 15 per tola, reaching Rs 1,860. On Friday, silver was traded at Rs 1,845 per tola.
