Lalitpur Metropolitan Corporation deployed a bulldozer on Monday morning to demolish unauthorized structures in Lalitpur-5, along with other temporary and illegal constructions, as part of efforts to protect and reconstruct Nhu Pokhari.
“This is a historical pond, but many people are unaware of its existence. To restore it, we are removing temporary and unauthorized buildings,” said Lalitpur City Police Chief Sitaram Hachhethu.
