Linguist Chudamani Gautam, widely known as the ‘Grammar Guru,’ has passed away. Gautam passed away at the age of 81 on Monday in Kathmandu.
According to family sources, he passed away on Monday evening while undergoing treatment. Gautam was renowned for his works on English grammar. Although his expertise was primarily in the English language, he also contributed to the Nepali language in recent years.
On August 27, 2022, Gautam launched the Expanded Nepali Dictionary. Prior to that, he had also published the Controversial Orthographic Nepali Dictionary.
