Dadeldhura, February 5
Two women were killed due to asphyxiation while warming beside a fire at Amargadhi-1 in the district last night.
The deceased have been identified as 60-year-old Dhauli Devi Diyal and her daughter-in-law, 26-year-old Punam Diyal, residents of Malam, Amargadhi Municipality-1.
Kusum Nayak, the Information Officer at the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, said the two women, who were found in an unconscious state, were taken to hospital this morning with the help of their family and relatives.
Doctors pronounced them dead on arrival. Police said further investigation is on in this connection.
