Two persons died in a motorbike accident at Sanphulwa, Suwarna rural municipality-7 of the Bara district in southern Nepal on Sunday night.
The victims have been identified as Birulal Yadav, a local, and Mewa Chandra Yadav (30), a resident of Samarpur-2, East Champaran in Bihar of India.
Police say the motorbike (Province 02-03-004 Pa 7934) crashed after the rider lost control over the vehicle on the way to Langada Chok from Bariyapur along the Postal Highway.
As the bike crashed on a bridge at around 10:30 pm, both fell off the road, critically injuring themselves.
They were rescued in a few minutes and taken to the Kalaiya Hospital for further treatment, but the hospital declared them dead at around 11:15 pm, informs DSP Rajesh Thapa, the spokesperson of the Bara District Police Office.
