Kathmandu, April 8
Buddha Air’s ATR 72 plane, bound for Kathmandu from Bhadrapur, made an emergency landing at Biratnagar on Friday afternoon.
Rupesh Joshi, the airlines’ senior executive operator, said the plane made an emergency landing after its indicator alerted about an engine breakdown. The plane has to make emergency landing whenever the indicator alerts about engine breakdown, he said. Joshi said the plane made emergency landing at 12.45 pm.
