Kathmandu, November 22
The Building and Construction Expo-2075 has begun in the Capital from Thursday with an objective of providing information related to building and construction at one place.
The Youth Community for Nepalese Contractors (YCNC) has organised the expo, where all the information regarding materials needed for construction would be imparted, says YCNC Treasurer Raju Phunyal.
Construction materials needed for constructing quake resistant buildings as well as cement, iron rod, furniture, tiles and pipes have been put on display in the expo.
Phunyal says that the expo has been organised with an objective of providing information related to construction at one place to the people as many houses are under construction after the 2015 earthquake. Engineers would provide free consultation to visitors regarding building construction during the expo.
Minister for Urban Development Mohammad Ishtiyak Rai inaugurated the expo, which will run till November 25.
