Citytech has launched Payment Orchestration and Merchant Management Platform, Getpay, at Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (MBL) in collaboration with Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL), recently.
According to a press statement released by Citytech, Getpay aims to revolutionise Nepal’s digital payment ecosystem by providing banks and financial institutions with a unified platform for payment orchestration and merchant management.
The platform streamlines payment processing, consolidates transactions, and integrates emerging payment schemes, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs. For merchants, Getpay offers a single-window view of transactions, simplifying operations and ensuring real-time settlements.
It adds that by aggregating multiple payment channels, the platform optimises transaction success rates by dynamically routing payments through the most efficient networks. Its scalable design allows financial institutions to integrate new payment options with minimal technical effort, ensuring adaptability in Nepal’s fast-evolving digital landscape.
Machhapuchchhre Bank has already incorporated Getpay into its daily operations. The bank’s Digital Banking team highlighted its impact, stating that the platform enhances efficiency by providing a centralized view of transactions, settlements, and merchant activities.
