Constitutional Council Bill passed by parliament

The Constitutional Council Bill has been passed by the House of Representatives.

The bill was passed unanimously in the meeting of the House of Representatives held on Monday.

This bill was registered in the House of Representatives on February 24, 2023. The bill was introduced by then Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.

The State Affairs and Good Governance Committee under the House of Representatives passed the bill unanimously and sent it to the House on May 30, 2024. It was then passed unanimously in the session on Monday.
