Design and Build
The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 has a few design changes from its predecessor, the DJI Osmo Pocket 2. The Pocket 3 now has a new flip-out 2-inch touchscreen display. The touchscreen has a resolution of 314×556 pixels and a brightness of 700 nits. You can control all the functions of the camera from the touch screen. The other design change is the new 5D joystick which makes it easier to control the camera with one hand. There is another button called the Shutter/Record button which helps to start the recording or to click a photo.
The major attraction will be the new flip-out touchscreen and the large 1-inch sensor. The camera starts when the touchscreen is flipped horizontally. When the touchscreen is flipped vertically, it will give the device a signal to keep shooting. If you click on keep shooting, it will open the vertical view for shooting if not, it will switch off automatically in two seconds. Weighing in at 179 grams, the camera is extremely lightweight and can effortlessly slip into pockets and small bags. Additionally, it includes a cover designed to safeguard the camera, gimbal, and touchscreen.
