Kathmandu, October 20
Professor Dr Govinda KC, who has been launching a movement seeking reforms in Nepal’s medical sector, has welcomed lawmakers’ act of registering an impeachment motion in the Parliament against CIAA Chief Commissioner Lok Man Singh Karki.
In a press release, Dr KC requested lawmakers to take the process to a conclusion without delay and impeach Karki.
Calling for impeachment of CIAA Chief Karki, among others, Dr KC has staged a series of hunger strikes.
Among others, Karki faces charges of intervening in medical entrance examinations of Kathmandu University.
Dr KC reminded that a host of other demands that he has been raising remain unfulfilled.
