eSewa Money Transfer organised a formal celebration program for the bumper prize winner of its Mero Digital Desh campaign, Purna Bahadur Shrestha.
Shrestha won a 2.5-story house in Lalitpur.
Ishor Adhikari, a Relationship Manager at eSewa Money Transfer based in the UAE, extended his congratulations to Purna Bahadur Shrestha and extended an official invitation to him for receiving the grand prize.
This invitation was made during a special program, which had the presence of senior management members from Lulu Exchange, including Faisal Ahmad, the Deputy General Manager; Raghupathy Venkitakrishnan, the Head of Operations; Azim Ummer, the Media & Marketing Manager; and Hareesh Pillai, the Head of Digital Operations.
During a live telecasted event in Kathmandu on May 26, 2023, Shrestha, a resident of the UAE for the past eight years was announced as the winner of the bumper prize.
Shrestha had sent money to Nepal using Lulu Exchange through eSewa Money Transfer.
The Mero Digital Desh campaign was initiated on September 23, 2022, with the motive to promote formal remittances backed through digital mediums.
As part of this initiative, monthly winners were chosen among Nepalese residing in different parts of the world who sent remittances digitally using eSewa Money Transfer to the Bank Account or eSewa Wallet of the beneficiary.
