eSewa Money Transfer handed over the house to the winner of the Mero Digital Desh campaign, Purna Bahadur Shah.

The event took place in the presence of the eSewa Money Transfer’s brand ambassadors, management team and employees.

Esewa Money Transfer announced the winner of the Mero Digital Desh campaign through a live broadcast from the official Facebook and TikTok pages on May 26.

Shrestha, who has been residing in the UAE for the past eight years and working as a driver won a brand new two-and-a-half-storied house in Imadol.

The much-anticipated event came as a finale to the eight-month-long campaign that was intended to create awareness and encourage remitters to use formal remittance services.

Shrestha, the bumper prize winner, expressed his happiness and gratitude for being chosen as the winner. Having dedicated the past eight years of his life to working diligently in UAE to provide a better life for his family, Shrestha said that winning the brand-new house, as a bumper prize came as a complete surprise and felt like a miracle to him.

He extended his heartfelt appreciation to eSewa Money Transfer for making his dream come true and expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in the initiative.

“I still don’t believe this. When I first got a call, I thought someone was playing a prank on me,” he said. “I had always wanted to build a house in Kathmandu and it had always been a lifelong aspiration, I feel extremely lucky to have been selected as the winner”.

During the handover event, Daniel D Shrestha, Director of eSewa Money Transfer, congratulated Shrestha on winning the bumper prize.

Ajesh Koirala, CEO of eSewa Money Transfer, extended his congratulations to Shrestha and his family for winning the dream house as the bumper prize. He expressed his delight at the overwhelming participation of Nepalis worldwide.
