Kathmandu, March 18
The government has appointed Deepak Thapa as the Chief of Nepal Police.
A Cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar this evening decided to promote Thapa from AIG to IGP, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung said.
The meeting also appointed Dinesh Bhatta as Executive Director of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA).
