Kathmandu, March 27
The House of Representatives meeting scheduled for Thursday morning was postponed without being convened.
Originally set for 11 am, the meeting has been rescheduled for 2 pm on the same day. The session was disrupted as opposition parties continued their protest over the removal of Kulman Ghising from his position as Executive Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority.
Speaker Devraj Ghimire held consultations with opposition leaders regarding the issue. However, as no agreement was reached, the meeting was postponed through an official notice, according to the Parliament Secretariat.
