
Kathmandu, January 14
A man has been arrested in Dadeldhura on charges of shooting his wife dead.
The suspect has been identified as 32-year-old Dambar Bahadur Thapa Magar, a resident of Pathroda in Amargadhi Municipality-3.
According to the police, Dambar shot his wife, Asmita, during a domestic dispute. Asmita died at the scene due to gunshot injuries inflicted by her husband.
A police team from the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, and the Bagbazar Police Post apprehended Dambar on Monday evening. A homemade firearm used in the incident was also seized from his possession.
The police have stated that further investigation into the case is ongoing.
