Kathmandu, January 24
Two persons have been found dead in mysterious circumstances in a tea estate in the Jhapa district of eastern Nepal.
Police found a man appearing to be in his mid-20s and a woman in her late teens hanging in the Everest Tea Estate located in Kechana, Kachankawal rural municipality-4.
DSP Basanta Pathak of the District Police Office says the deceased are yet to be identified and further investigation is underway.
Six months ago in July 2022 also, three teenage girls were found dead in similar circumstances in Kachankawal-4.
