Kathmandu, January 4
A man from Jhapa of eastern Nepal has been arrested in possession of a pistol and 50 rounds of bullets of it at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Monday.
SSP Rajesh Nath Baskota says Badri Hang Rai, a resident of Mechinagar-2 of Jhapa, was arrested with a 9 mm pistol and its bullets during a regular security check at the airport today.
He was entering the airport to fly on a Shree Airlines aircraft to Bhadrapur in his home district.
Details of the incident are not divulged yet.
