Dhangadhi, March 16
One person died in a tractor accident in the Kailali district of Sudurpaschim on Wednesday night.
The victim has been identified as Prabesh Chaudhary (31), a resident of Belauri municipality-7 of the neighbouring Kanchanpur district.
The Sudurpaschim Provincial Traffic Police Office says Chaudhary was seriously injured when he lost control of the vehicle (Ma 1 Ta 1209), resulting in the crash at Chaukidanda, Godawari municipality-3 of Kailali.
He was rushed to the Maya Metro Hospital, Dhangadhi, where he died during treatment.
Police say further investigation is underway.
