Pokhara, October 27
CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal says the alliance formed between leftist parties–CPN-UML and CPN-Maoist Centre–has helped the Nepali Congress get unified.
Addressing his cadres in Pokhara of Kaski district today, Dahal said the Congress party benefitted from the alliance and proposed unification of leftist forces as it motivated the party cadres to come together.
Claiming that Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar-led Nepal Democratic Forum merged with the Congress as a result of the polarisation, Dahal requested the Congress not to get disappointed with the leftist unity.
Meanwhile, Dahal urged his cadres to make efforts to make leftist candidates victorious in upcoming elections scheduled for November 26 and December 7.
