Mag 6.8 quake in Afghanistan, tremors felt in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, April 10

An earthquake of magnitude 6.8 on the Richter scale struck Afghanistan at around 4:13 pm on Sunday.

According to local reports the quake had its epicentre on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border at a depth of around 200 km.

Tremors were felt in Kathmandu, and different parts of India.
