Kathmandu, March 6
Two contenders for the position of Nepali Congress President say they are sure to win the elections taking place during the party’s 13th general convention underway at Bhrikuti Mandap.
Talking to the media while waiting in line to cast his vote, NC leader Sher Bahadur Deuba said: My victory has become certain. Deuba had cast the vote together with another contender for the top post, Krishna Sitaula.
Another contender for the position, Ramchandra Poudel, arrived a bit late at the polling booth. Poudel also told the media that he will win the election.
