Kathmandu, December 10
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 245,650 as of Thursday afternoon.
The ministry says 1,217 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 7,232 swab samples were tested. So far, 1 million and 813,204 people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 12,386 cases are active. The current recovery rate is 94 percent.
Of the total cases so far, 231,601 people recovered whereas 1,663 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 1,064 people have been discharged whereas 12 deaths have been reported.
Over 500 people are quarantined across the country.
