The 11th edition of the Nepal Literature Festival concluded on Monday in Lakeside Pokhara. The five-day event featured panel discussions, musical shows, and many other activities.
The festival wrapped up following a performance by Bipul Chettri and the Travelling Band.
This year’s festival showcased over 50 sessions, more than five musical performances, and hosted 15 stalls.
During the festival’s inauguration on January 15, Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey said that the event has become a defining feature of Pokhara, promoting both domestic and international tourism in the city.
“The sessions conducted during the festival have attracted the intellectual community from across the country,” said Pandey.
Similarly, Niraj Bhari, the chief executive officer of the Nepal Literature Festival, expressed that the festival aims to address various challenges people face in their lives.
During the 11th edition of the Nepal Literature Festival, sessions featured national and international figures such as Kai Bird, Janice Pariat, CK Raut, Chandrahas Choudhury, Madan Krishna Shrestha, and Hari Bansha Acharya. The event included discussions on literature, politics, economics, and various other subjects.
According to the organisers of the festival, this year’s event exceeded their expectations.
