Kathmandu, February 7
The government-run fuel distribution monopoly, Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), has once again shown its double standard in terms of fuel price adjustment.
The corporation refused to reduce the fuel prices after buying the petroleum products at reduced rates last fortnight citing regular losses has rushed to hike them now–citing the prices sent by the Indian Oil Corporation increased.
As per the corporation’s decision on Monday, the following changes have been made:

Prices of cooking gas and aviation fuel have not changed.
Last year also, the NOC mostly denied decreasing the fuel prices citing losses, but in the second half of December 2022, and in early January this year, it agreed to adjust the prices.
