Kathmandu, May 5
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, caught in a serious crisis with the Nepali Congress, the UCPN-Maoist and the United Democratic Madheshi Front teaming up against the coalition government under him, has approached the Maoist party to, in a last-ditch attempt to save the coalition or explore other alternatives to appease the Maoist party.
PM Oli has shelved the emergency Cabinet meeting he had called on Thursday morning for discussions with the Maoist party, Pramod Dahal, Oli’s media coordinator, said.
