Janakpurdham, October 29
Over 300 yet-to-distribute driving licences have been found hurled at a paddy field in Janakpurdham, the capital of Province 2, recently.
Women harvesting rice recently found the licences scattered on their field in Janakpur-14 on Wednesday. The place is around 200 metres away from the Transport Management Office.
The women collected the licence cards and submitted it to the office.
Following the incident, a serious question has been raised about the security of the documents at the office. Birendra Sah, an officer at the office, says some people with ill intent might have thrown away the licences.
Further investigation is underway.
