More than 400 kg of red sandalwood has been seized from Kandaghari, Kathmandu, according to police sources.
This morning, a team from the Valley Crime Investigation Office recovered the sandalwood, which was packed in sacks. Upon weighing, the confiscated load was found to be 462 kg, the sources confirmed.
Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the seizure. However, their identities have not yet been disclosed by the authorities.
