The Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee on Wednesday conducted a hearing on the appointment of Lilamani Poudel and Dip Kumar Upadhyaya as ambassadors to China and India, respectively.
The Prachanda government recommended Poudel and Upadhyaya as ambassadors to China and India and sent the names to PHSC for a hearing.
The nominees had made their presentations at the committee incorporating their concepts and action plans. They had pledged to strengthen Nepal’s relations with the countries concerned by upholding national interest if they get the job.
