Kathmandu, September 20
Prakash Man Singh has been appointed as the Acting Prime Minister.
President Ram Chandra Paudel designated Singh to the role after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli departed for the United States today to attend the United Nations General Assembly. Singh will oversee daily administrative duties until Oli returns.
Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to return on September 30.
