Project Abhaya, in collaboration with the Global Peace Chain (GPC), conducted a leadership and civic awareness session at TechSpire College. The program drew 44 participants eager to enhance their knowledge of leadership, narrative development, and active citizenship.
According to a press statement released by TechSpire College, the session featured speakers Ruby Shah, Dixit Awasthi, and Advocate Shoumya Risal, who guided participants through team building, communication skills, and governance fundamentals. Shah focused on effective communication and coordination for building successful teams, encouraging participants to address communication gaps.
Awasthi highlighted the importance of storytelling in inspiring collective action. Through group activities, participants learned how narratives could unite individuals to achieve shared goals.
Risal provided an engaging lecture on governance, covering Nepal’s Constitution, citizens’ rights and duties, and the rule of law. She emphasized the need for informed citizens to foster a participatory society.
Founder Ishika Panta underscored Project Abhaya’s mission to empower youth with leadership and teamwork skills, saying, “When young people are equipped with the right tools, they become agents of positive change.”
The event emphasised critical thinking and collaboration, aligning with Project Abhaya’s goal to nurture socially responsible and confident citizens through interactive programs.
