Kathmandu, July 11
Raj Kumar Karki, Secretary General of the Nepal School Sports Federation and executive member of the International Sports Federation participated in the Olympic torch relay in the first week of July in Lille, France. Karki held the torch relay with ISF President Laurent Petrynka.
Karki claims that he is the first Nepali to participate in the Olympic torch relay.
“It’s a very emotional and historical moment to represent Nepal, carrying the Olympic flame,” says Karki.
