A 19-year-old boy who was first confirmed as a coronavirus positive case and later achieved recovery has been hospitalised on Saturday evening again.
Whereas health officials took him to the Birgunj-based Narayani Sub-regional Hospital from his home in Ishnath in Rautahat district of southern Nepal yesterday, the patient himself says he does not know why he was hospitalised. He says he has not experienced any symptoms these days.
The hospital’s medical superintendent Dr Madan Upadhyaya says he was taken back to the hospital after some health problems appeared in him. It has been learned that the doctors had visited his house in Rautahat last Wednesday to collect throat swab and blood samples for some tests and the results of the tests were suspicious.
He has been admitted to the isolation ward of the hospital.
