The Rastriya Janata Party Nepal and the Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal have demanded that they be jointly provided with 55 federal and 131 provincial constituencies to be a part of the democratic alliance to be formed under the leadership of Nepali Congress.
The parties have submitted a list of constituencies that they need in each of the provinces.
They have demanded three federal and six provincial constituencies in Kathmandu district only.
The two Madhesh-centric parties have demanded that they be given total 24 federal and 48 provincial constituencies in Province 2, where they have the strongest presence. However, the parties have not claimed any constituency from Province 6.
There are total 165 provincial and 330 provincial constituencies across the country.
