Birgunj, September 12
One pedestrian has died in a truck hit incident in the Sarlahi district of Madhesh.
The victim has been identified as Ram Chandra Rayamajhi (50), a resident of Harion municipality-9, informs Sarlahi District Police Office information officer Bijaya Yadav.
The truck (Na 8 Kha 8267) heading westwards along the East-West Highway hit Rayamajhi at Naya Road Chok, Harion-10, at around 4 am today.
Lalit Chaudhary (37), a resident of Mirchaiya municipality-9, was behind the wheel when the accident occurred. He has been arrested for further investigation.
