Kathmandu, February 19
Prime Minister KP Oli is in India for a six-day-long state visit. The visit, according to the government, is aimed at improving ties with the southern neighbour.
But supplies minister Ganesh Man Pun, who handles the ministry responsible for managing fuel supplies, is not a part of the delegation. It was expected that Pun would be a part of the visiting team as problems have been seen in the smooth supply of petroleum from India.
When asked, Minister Pun, who is in Chitwan, told Onlinekhabar, “The commerce ministry is responsible for importing petroleum. The supplies ministry’s job is to manage it after it enters Nepal.”
