Design
The NH T200 has a fully Adventure look. Firstly, it comes with a double partition headlamp attached to the fairings. This provides the bike with a new look from other adventure bikes. The narrow headlamp has LED lights. There is also a small windshield or visor above the headlight.
The fuel tank is narrow so that rider gets a proper grip while off-road. The seat looks comfortable, so is the pillion seat. It has a grab rail beside the pillion seat. Also, the tyres give an ADV texture as the bike comes with grip tyres. SYM has tried hard to make the look of NH T200 similar to that of the BMW gs 310. NH T200 weighs 152 Kgs which is a lot of weight for the bike with the given specifications.
Engine
SYM NH T200 comes with a 183 cc four-stroke Euro-4 engine and, it is a single cylinder and liquid-cooled engine that can generate a max power of 13.5kW @ 8500 RPM and max torque of 15.7 Nm @ 7500 RPM. The company claims this bike provides good mileage even under various conditions.
Further, the fuel tank capacity is 11 litres and comes with EFI (electric fuel injection) system. Also, there is a six-speed gearbox on the bike.
Wheels and suspensions
The NH T200 comes with a 19-inch aluminium alloy wheel on the front which comes with a 100/90-19” tubeless tyre. On the rear side, there is a 17-inch alloy wheel with a 130/80-17” tubeless tyre.
Talking about the suspension of the bike, it is built with the telescopic fork on the front and the rear is built with a single mono shock absorber with the swingarm which is a kind of basic must-have for adventure bikes.
Braking
Putting safety in focus, SYM NH T200 has provided disc brakes on both front and rear sides. The front disc measures 288 mm in diameter. The rear disc measures 222 mm in diameter. Interestingly, it comes with dual ABS (anti-lock braking system) which provides better safety on roads.
NH T200 features a fully digital console with necessary indicators aside. It has digital console indicators like odometer and fuel level. The company also has managed to provide a DC socket for charging smart devices, which is a unique feature on the bike.
The SYM NH T200 price in Nepal is fixed at Rs 5,48,888 for now. It will be available in four colour options: black, red, blue, and camouflage brown. The company claims this is an introductory price and the price of the bike will increase once the offer ends. At the given price range it competes with the likes of Yamaha XTZ 150, Crossfire Tracker 250, Asian Beast, Haojue NK150 and Honda XR 150.
