Chitwan, January 20
Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Paudel has said that a teachers’ hospital would be constructed in Bharatpur metropolitan city of Chitwan and works would be immediately forwarded in that connection.
Talking to RSS today, he said, “The works on construction of the teachers’ hospital would be started in this fiscal year itself by taking forward the necessary legal process for its construction in Chitwan. We will soon make a proposal in this regard in the meeting of the Council of Ministers soon.”
Although it might take some time due to the legal process, works on construction of the hospital would not be stopped for any other reason, according to him.
The pre-feasibility study and land identification committee submitted its report to Minister Paudel on Wednesday stating it would be appropriate to construct the hospital in Bharatpur.
It is said initially the hospital would be of 300 beds’ capacity and its capacity would be gradually expanded. A visitors’ accommodation would also be constructed in the hospital premises.
