Biratnagar, April 15
Coordinator of Naya Shakti, Baburam Bhattarai, said on Friday this is no time to seek an alternative to the KP Oli government. Bhattarai stressed the need to pile pressure on the government to perform at a time when the government has not been able to control corruption and black marketing.
Toppling this government will make way for politcal instability again, Bhattarai said, asking leaders of political parties not to engage themselves in conspiracies to topple the government.
In another context, Bhattarai said United Democratic Madheshi Front and the government should sit for talks to address problems seen in Madhesh. Madhesh issues are political in nature, he said, asking the government to take the issues seriously as only through talks can they be resolved.
