Kathmandu, January 1
Five Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) have been transferred following a decision made at the ministerial level on Tuesday evening.
According to the transfer list, SSP Shyam Krishna Adhikari, previously serving in the Sudurpaschim Province Police, has been appointed as the chief of the Lalitpur District Police Office. SSP Shekhar Khanal, who was stationed at Lalitpur, has been transferred to the Kathmandu Valley Police Office, Ranipokhari.
SSP Binod Ghimire, who was serving in Ranipokhari, has been reassigned to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, Ramshah Path.
Similarly, SSP Somendra Singh Rathour, previously working at the Secretariat of the National Security Council in Singha Durbar, has been transferred to the Tribhuvan International Airport Security Office, Gauchar.
SSP Bhupendra Khatri, formerly with the Crime Investigation Department, has been reassigned to Bharatpur Training Center.
