Kathmandu, March 12
An all-round display from Kushal Bhurtel against Papua New Guinea has helped Nepal reach the final of the Tri-National T20I series in Hong Kong.
Bhurtel scored 59 runs and picked up four wickets as Nepal beat PNG by 85 runs at the Mission Road Ground on Tuesday.
Being asked to bat first, Nepal posted an impressive total of 198 in 20 overs thanks to Bhurtel and Sundeep Jora. Jora scored a quick-fire 56 as Nepal punished the PNG bowlers.
In reply, PNG were bundled out for 113 in 16.1 overs. PNG got off to a good start but Bhurtel ran through the middle order to give Nepal an easy victory.
